Production Associate

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Associate to join our team. This role involves preparing steel and other materials for production, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process. The ideal candidate will be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Preparation: Accurately prepare steel and other materials for production, ensuring they meet specified requirements.
• Stacking and Measuring: Stack steel to exact measurements and ready the steel for winding machines.
• Quality Checks: Continuously monitor and check the quality of materials to ensure they meet production standards.
• Physical Tasks: Engage in long periods of standing and physical activity, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 70 lbs.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic electronics equipment.
• Experience: One year of related manufacturing experience preferred, with a basic understanding of a manufacturing environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel.
• Adaptability: Capability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required for accurate measurement and preparation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
