Production Associates - Spherion

Spherion is hiring Warehouse Workers in Fairborn, OH. RESUME REQUIRED!

Pay: 1st Shift: $17/hr / 2nd Shift: $18.50/hr -- 30 DAY TEMP TO HIRE PROCESS!

1st: Mon-Fri, 7:00a-3:30p, 8 Hour shifts ($18.46/hr once hired on)
2nd: Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am, 8 hour shifts ($19.96/hr once hired on)

Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
-Tape, count, cut, glue - Complete Production of sandpaper
-Safely convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated locations.
-Sort and organize materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
-Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
-Assemble customer orders from available stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or transport orders to the packing station or shipping department.
-Mark materials with identifying information for efficient tracking.
-Open bales, crates, and other containers as needed.
-Maintain records of received and distributed materials or items.
-Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with company standards before distribution within the plant.
-Arrange stock parts in the specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Must be able to lift 10-40lbs during shift and the ability to stand for extended periods as well as walk back and forth during the processing of materials.
-Ability to count
-Team-oriented mindset with the capacity to work self-sufficiently.
-Positive attitude and commitment to meeting customer requirements.
-Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
-Must have steel-toed boots or shoes for safety purposes.
