Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the manufacturing schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of production orders.
- Liaise with various departments such as engineering, supply chain, and quality control to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Adjust production schedules in response to equipment failures, supply delays, or unforeseen events.
- Track the progress of production and provide regular status reports to management and relevant team members
- Assist in the development and implementation of production control procedures to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Participate in production meetings and provide input on potential bottlenecks or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, resources used, and any deviations from the schedule.
- Assist in the resolution of production issues and participate in root cause analysis to prevent
- Coordinate with various departments such as engineering, manufacturing, quality control, and procurement to ensure seamless production flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the supply chain team to ensure the availability of materials and parts.
- Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, etc.
- Implement production control activities to improve throughput, inventory control, and cost reduction.
- Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to track work orders, production status, and to schedule tasks efficiently.
- Communicate with project managers and other coordinators to align production schedules with project timelines.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production progress, backlogs, and potential delays to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of production control procedures to optimize workflow.
- Conduct capacity planning and provide input for future production needs to support business growth and customer demand.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in in Aerospace Manufacturing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of production planning and inventory control principles
- Basic knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and technologies
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
