Job Description:
Purchases, plans, and schedules raw materials, packaging, parts, and services.
Identifies requirements from engineering and production specs.
Coordinates with production, warehouse, and engineering for material procurement and scheduling.
Monitors supplier performance and collaborates on demand planning.
Maintains material schedules and inventory records.
Expedites materials flow according to production schedules.
Assists in resolving shortages and alerts authorities on potential issues.
Production Support Career Stream:
Provides support in manufacturing or distribution centers including assembly, machinery, and packaging.
Operates machines, reports malfunctions, and may be involved in shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
