Job Summary:
Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of a Production Data Entry Clerk at our Provo, Utah location.
The Production Data Entry Clerk is responsible for maintaining overall accurate inventory records, tracking overages, shortages, and damages, as well as receipts, returns, and shipping functions to ensure proper documentation. The Production Data Entry Clerk will also be in charge of performing quality control on received containers.
This role is performed while standing at computers on the production floor & will report to the Production Supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- Order entry: Process production orders, including double-checking accuracy of pallets leaving production area
- Minor inventory management; Perform daily cycle counts as required
- Provide administrative support for Supervisor; file & maintain production documents
- Perform quality control checks as required; report issues to management
- Create & maintain daily process logs for production daily work & projects
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies by interacting with team members & other departments
- Organize & check work orders with pour schedules daily to maintain accuracy & meet deadlines
- Ensure production performance goals are set, maintained & tracked daily for improvements
- Establish & maintain effective relationships with peers, team & senior management in order to communicate effectively & to strategically implement solutions
- Generate reports as requested by management
- Must certify in-house to operate forklifts & walkie ridies competently
- Physically able to actively participate in a fast-paced production environment daily
- Keep work areas clean & uncluttered
- Report all safety concerns to Supervisor immediately
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Program knowledge):
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook; intermediate computer operation
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software/NetSuite a bonus
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
- Strong knowledge of production & product lines
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred, but not required
- High school graduate or GED preferred
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time & non-exempt.
Work Environment:
The noise level on the production floor can be loud with the machines running. The combined odor of multiple fragrances may affect those with odor-sensitivities and could result in headaches the first couple of days. This position is performed inside.
- Cut resistant gloves must be worn when using razor knives or blades
- Protective gloves required when working with chemicals
- Fingernail length must be kept cut to the tip of the finger
- Closed-toe & slip-resistant shoes are required
- Hair must be pulled up & safety glasses worn when working near the production line/mixing area
- Lift up to 50 pounds, lifting 30 pounds regularly
- Must be able to grip, grasp, clench hands & twist wrists for long periods of time without difficulty or restriction
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist & move around for long periods of time without difficulty or restriction; Use proper lifting techniques when bending, lifting or pushing
- Be cautious of vehicles & people moving throughout work area
Must have a high tolerance to smells/odors
Must be able to pass post-offer background check and drug test. Hiring status will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
