About the Job
An automotive parts manufacturer near the Fremont, OH area is looking for a Production Engineering Manager. You manage and track all stages of new and existing product design. The ideal candidate will have prior production leadership experience within the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering team (engineers, specialists, etc.)
- Validate new & existing product conditions
- Monitor & maintain operational standards – ensure conditions met
- Oversee and maintain all necessary equipment
- Address & troubleshoot all operational & equipment issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or combination of education & experience)
- At least 3 years' experience in production leadership role
- Knowledge of product design (experience with CAD programs)
- Knowledge of Production & Quality practices & processes
- Knowledge of TPS (Toyota Production System)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work & lead within a multi-cultural environment
