Bring your previous experience working as a Production Lead in a manufacturing environment.
Pay range: $20-$25/hr. based on experience.
Hours: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Essential Functions:
- Leads one or more teams in a pick/pack environment.
- Leads one or more replenishes to ensure packing areas are adequately stocked at all times.
- Responsible for tracking/controlling work orders received from Manager and for reconciling totals at end of shift.
- Communicates packing requirements to team members.
- Must meet or exceed customer turn around requirements on a daily basis.
- Facilitates communication with Manager for product shortages, damages, etc.
- Accountable for accuracy of pack counts.
- Responsible for ensuring warehouse integrity is maintained through following procedures, guidelines, and layout maps.
- Accountable for damaged product in assigned areas.
- Communicates with other teams to ensure line is kept cleared and uninterrupted in production.
- Maintains real-time status on all orders at all times.
- Responsible for a clean and orderly warehouse for safety, efficient operations and minimum rework due to warehouse damage.
- Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, security and complete and on-time delivery.
- Provides input to Manager on team member performance, counseling, safety performance, etc.
- Carries out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Operates material handling equipment/forklift in a safe manner as required.
- Maintains current knowledge of all company policies.

Requirements:
- Ability to follow work orders and communicate effectively with teammates and managers.
- Ability to count.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
- Ability to operate forklift ideal.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position supervises general production staff and machine operators.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk. The employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must operate a forklift. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (1-2 years minimum)
- Ability to use MS Office Programs including Word/Excel/Outlook
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
