Production Manager at Judge Group

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production efforts for long-term process improvements, including environmental and safety compliance.

• Promote team development, effective communication, and employee skill growth.

• Establish and clarify roles and expectations for direct reports, providing necessary coaching and feedback.

• Drive cultural change to encourage employee ownership of facility operations (team size: 10-15 members).

• Support flexible shift schedules, including rotating day/night/weekend/holiday shifts.

• Work in various environments like confined spaces, high locations, and extreme temperatures.

• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience in industrial, manufacturing, or military settings with a solid understanding of production, HR, EHS, and quality operations.

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for document creation, report preparation, and data analysis.

• Proven experience in coaching, counseling, and developing employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with OSB or wood products.

• Familiarity with advanced reliability skills such as thermography, vibration analysis, and lubrication.

• At least three years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, wood science, or a related field.
