Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Production Manager to join their team in Columbus, Ohio.  We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing. The Production Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• In office

The right candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with vendors, management, co-workers in English
• Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to practical situations

Our Production Manager will:

• Plan, organize, and direct production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Supervise, train, and evaluate production staff, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Monitor production processes and adjust optimize workflow and reduce waste
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and quality control, to meet production goals
• Prepare and present production reports to upper management, analyzing performance and recommending improvements
• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality
• Manage production inventory, ensuring materials are available to meet production needs
