Role and Responsibilities
The Production Manager at Fortner will lead the coordination of internal and external resources to ensure the seamless execution of custom furniture projects. This role involves managing project scope, objectives, and performance, from initial sale to final delivery, while ensuring all work meets customer expectations and is completed on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise, addressing issues, managing resources, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and conflict management skills, with a background in production management or industrial engineering.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
PAY RANGE
$65,000 / year

Skills & Qualifications
- Background in production management or industrial engineering, with proven experience in a production manager role.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively delegate and lead without direct authority.
- Strong conflict management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and sit or stand for extended periods.
- PMP certification and knowledge of construction, upholstery, or woodworking are advantageous.
