About the Job
The Creative Production Manager will join the Creative and Marketing team and be responsible for the coordination and execution of creative projects from placement of order through delivery and installation. The right person for this role will be the liaison between internal teams and external vendors and have responsibility for managing timelines and milestones to ensure completion of tactics, campaigns and projects. This team member should have experience coordinating project schedules, controlling production related expenses, managing workflows and problem solving in a fast paced, creative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and manage timely approach of all external vendor assignments to support on-time deliver
- Serve as primary point of contact for all external creative vendors
- Partner with in-house production team to ship out final production files across multiple tactics and ensure production requests are carried out thoroughly
- Provide prompt communication and follow-up with store locations to clearly communicate status changes in projects
- Develop project installation plans in coordination with both store locations and vendors. Plans include scheduling, resources, access and all other logistics.
- Ensure prompt resolution of all production related issues
- Partner with Creative Project Manager to establish project timelines and milestones and determine project priorities
- Maintain documentation to support delivery and installation of creative projects in accordance with creative development process
- Keep the flow of information open, honest and transparent while encouraging adherence to best practices and procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in business, communications, project management or relevant field and a minimum of 4+ years of experience with an in-house creative department, design firm or agency.
- Experience coordinating internal and external clients, partners and team members with excellence in planning and tactical thinking.
- Demonstrates good judgment and uncompromising integrity; comfortable navigating ambiguous and changing situations.
- Supports a collaborative environment with confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently and productively under tight timelines.
- Proficient in time management with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects/priorities.
