Production Manager | Direct Hire | Great Benefits - azimuth

We are looking for a Production Manager for our client in Memphis, TN.

Core responsibilities: 

• Manages and supervises production lines, personnel, and facility issues. Responsible for ensuring employee productivity, facility safety, and maintenance activities while working in conjunction with other managers and supervisors. Ensures the SQF Code is followed.
• Responsible for executing the production schedules.
• Directly supervises, trains, and evaluates production supervisors and line personnel.
• Monitors, exceeds, and maintains production standards for efficiencies, material waste, and quality.
• Monitors and reduces costs within the department.
• Observe and enforce safety, GMP, and allergen programs and attend appropriate training sessions.
• Actively participates and leads continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud,
  HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
• Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
• Responsible for partnering with others, and sharing knowledge, skills, and information within assigned teams and across functional areas.

• Computer skills in report generation and Microsoft applications are required.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred.
• Excellent decision-making, planning, and leadership skills are required. 

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing
  environment.

Shift: 1st shift
Compensation: $90k - $125k (based on experience)
