We are currently looking for a Production Manager for a small construction install company.
The ideal candidate will have a background working for a specialty contractor. This individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize while being extremely organized. Must be detail oriented.
Responsibilities include:
- Residential
- Schedule all houses to be installed based on builders' schedules, portal schedules, phone calls, and email from superintendents.
- Schedule measures and service appointments.
- Produce house package in preparation for installation based on customer selections.
- Update schedule as needed.
- Answer calls for schedule requests, schedule changes, additional work and service requests.
- Prepare paperwork for daily schedule for all installation crews.
- Document and track incomplete jobs and reschedule as necessary.
- Assign appropriate Client to complete jobs.
- Order shower doors from appropriate vendor for each house in production.
- Update job status on the schedule for any relevant information.
- Commercial
- Process project matrices received from project manager. Schedule appropriately based on installation of job (product, buildings, floors, etc.)
- Document and track incomplete jobs and reschedule as necessary.
- Process daily paperwork installs, clean up, etc. Enter/remove items from clean up list. Email superintendents with issues and/or notifications.
- Participate in weekly job foreman meetings and monthly production meetings. Update schedule accordingly.
- Assign appropriate Client based on job foremen recommendations.
- Prepare paperwork for daily schedule for all installation crews.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams, field superintendents, and purchasing teams
- Experience with scheduling Client for project installation, service appointments, and measures
- Ability to work with various client specific software and portals
- Ability to troubleshoot field installation issues as they arise
