Our Banks Crossing, GA location is part of our Taste division and creates a variety of stock broth, soups, and bases. We have an immediate opening for a 12Hr Night Shift Production Operator. Working 7:00PM - 7:00AM, hours will be 48/36 alternating with the 2-2-3 rotating schedule.





$1.20 cent shift differential for working Night Shift!





What you'll do:



As a Production Operator, youll safely set up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output. Applying your knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions and ensure high quality goods are produced.


Well count on you to help us meet our customer and consumer needs as you:



+ Communicate with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control personnel, or other manufacturing operators to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals aremet.


+ Accurately maintain records and documentation as required.


+ Follow SOP's, GMP's safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules ofconduct.


+ Report food safety problemsand participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.


+ Follow strict safety procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work areaincluding wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.


+ Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues


+ Perform other duties as assigned.






What you'll need to be successful and safe:



To get the most of this role at Kerry youll need to meet these minimum requirements:



+ High school diploma or GED equivalent


+ At least 2 years experience or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry


+ Strong technical skills and knowledge of various types of machines and equipment


+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


+ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills


+ Flexible and willing to adapt to changes


+ Ability to work independently and well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.


+ Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.



Physical Requirements:



+ Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.


+ Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.

Salary:


The typical hiring range for this role is $20.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.
