About the Job
Objective: The Production Operator is responsible for executing various tasks including prep-work, masking, grit blasting, finishing, passivation, and cleaning of parts. This role involves maintaining production efficiency, adhering to quality standards, and performing tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
Essential Functions:
Prep-Work: Prepare parts for processing, ensuring they are clean and ready for subsequent operations.
Masking: Apply masking materials to protect specific areas of parts during processing.
Grit Blasting: Perform grit blasting operations to clean and texture parts as required.
Finishing: Execute finishing processes to meet quality and specification requirements.
Cleaning: Clean parts thoroughly to remove any residues or contaminants after processing.
Passivation: Conduct passivation treatments to enhance corrosion resistance of parts.
Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor process parameters and equipment status to ensure production output remains within required tolerances.
Tooling Maintenance: Keep tooling and work areas clean and ready for operation.
Support Duties: Assist with additional tasks and perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Measurement: Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements and ensure parts meet quality standards.
Compliance: Work within the Company's Quality and Safety System, following all relevant procedures and requirements.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time position, requiring at least 8 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs dictate.
Travel:
No travel required.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diplom. Preferred: Post-secondary education or technical certification related to manufacturing.
Skills:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong planning and prioritization skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
