About the Job
As a Production Operator II, you’ll support the Bio-Rad Manufacturing plant that produces specialized life science products that researchers and scientists need to make healthcare breakthroughs and save lives. You’ll be given the opportunity to implement continuous process improvements. Throughout this process you will gain a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and will gain knowledge daily to ensure we maintain the highest standards and deliver those high quality products to out customers. In conjunction with the packaging team, this role may be subjected to be cross-functional between plate coating and filling and any other production areas.
The Bio-Rad Global Supply Chain’s Manufacturing teams focus on building high quality products for our customers in support of testing in clinical diagnostic labs and life sciences research. The Manufacturing teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and Singapore and produce regulated and non-regulated products that range from reagent kits to small and large instruments, plastics, and consumables. They also collaborate and work seamlessly with our supply chain to meet, and exceed, our customers’ expectations. This role is based in our Woodinville, Wa facilities.
How You'll Make An Impact:
Build your knowledge of the manufacturing process while manufacturing healthcare products that will improve the quality of life for millions.
Help us deliver for our customers by setting quality and reliability standards by process improvements.
Prepares for production by reviewing production schedule, assembling and weighing materials and supplies.
Produces requirements by operating and monitoring equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls; calculating concentrations, dilutions, and yields; adhering to aseptic filtering and filing procedures or and/or system test on product subassemblies or final instruments.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; complying with legal regulations; monitoring environment.
May perform simple to moderately complex lab experiments.
What You Bring:
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
0 - 2 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in team environments, fostering collaboration and synergy.
- Exemplary professionalism and a commitment to maintaining high standards of wrok ethics.
- Proficient written communication skills, with a focus on clarity, coherence, and effectiveness.

Compensation: The estimated hourly pay rate for this position is $19.13 to $26.30 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
