About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator IV to join our client’s team
In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of components for a specialized program
Your expertise will contribute to assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and modules using visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams.
Assemble electronic components and modules, ensuring adherence to IPC-610 standards.
Perform mechanical assembly operations including chassis assembly, wire termination, installation of wire harnesses, and cable assemblies with meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborate closely with team members and engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
Disassemble and modify production subassemblies, following detailed work plans.
Conduct inspections to confirm that assemblies meet quality standards.
Skills Required:
High School diploma or Trade School education (minimum two years).
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
Experience with large, complex builds.
IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-620 certifications.
Skills Preferred:
Experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) or military environments.
Additional proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents.
Experience Required:
Minimum two years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly.
Previous soldering experience.
Familiarity with chassis and cable fabrication.
Computer literacy.
Experience Preferred:
Two years of experience in the DoD or military settings.
Education Required:
Two years of High School or Trade School education.
Schedule:
4/10 work schedule (Monday-Thursday), typically 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
