SURESTAFF is immediately hiring an experienced Production Packaging Supervisor for a client in Bolingbrook, IL. The Production Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines.
This position will provide technical knowledge and support for form /fill packaging machinery (Hayssen), computerized dosing/filling equipment, automatic case packaging, process conveying systems, Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), and Preventative Maintenance programs. Candidate also must maintain and troubleshoot all processing and packaging equipment. Must be proficient in the operating of forklift equipment and oversee a crew of production workers.

Responsibilities of the Production Packaging Supervisor:
- Ensure adequate staffing by scheduling, training, and mentoring the team to ensure they are meeting performance metrics.
- Maintain a consistently safe work environment through re-enforcing OSHA policies.
- Ensure efficient coordination and processing of work orders/tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.
- Provide continuous training for employees to increase productivity and morale.
- Promote a fun, safe workplace at all times.
- Monitor and track daily production goals and hold employees accountable to their KPIs at all times
Preferred Qualifications of the Production Packaging Supervisor:
- four-year college or technical school or 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training.
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
- Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
- Bilingual preferred Spanish and English
