About the Job
PRODUCTION PACKER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking Production Packers for a food grade manufacturing company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will operate and inspect finished products, box and palletize as well as complete quality checks on all goods. This Position is full time temp to hire.
Pay Range
$16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule and Shifts
7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Production Packers Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Load and unload materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Packaging into correct boxes with labels to palletize
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products correctly.
Production Packers Job Requirements and Qualifications
• Must pass vigorous clinical physical to include blood work and lung function
• Wear respirator as needed as well beard covers
• Tyvex suites are provided in powdered areas
• Must be able to lift to 50lbs repetitively
• High school diploma or GED
• Background Check and Drug Screen Required
• Steel toe boots/shoes required
