Max pay rate is $31.83/hr
Plans and purchases products designated for use in manufacturing replenishment, new product launches, and sales to customers.
Analyzes inventory to ensure consistency with production plan and company inventory policies. Interfaces with Finance to report
financial impact. Works closely with vendors, purchasing, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities
• Plans, purchases, and manage inventory to ensure levels of supply are within required parameters whilst achieving CDI goals
and ensuring a smooth product supply.
• Identifies risk of materials that are coming to the end of life and mitigate scrap value where possible.
• Creates, edits and finalizes reports for raw materials, scrap, expiration, audits, in addition to other report requests from
management and other functional groups.
• Actively reviews safety stock levels, re-order points and planning parameters as needed for all materials.
• Prepares and leads in meetings on raw materials, timelines, or delays on a weekly basis.
• Assists procurement and finance in resolving open/closed invoicing matters with third-party supplier’s regularly.
• Addresses, corrects, and formulates plans for late shipments, quantity discrepancies, and other receiving/shipping related
tasks both internally and externally.
• Oversees material related changes such as spec changes, rev changes, supplier changes, and others where applicable while
ensuring product supply remains consistent and compliant during transition.
• Prepares documents and presentations to planning and procurement groups on various occasions and events.
• Creates, reviews and communicates delivery schedules with third party suppliers, production, management, and onsite and
offsite warehouses.
• Writes and/or revises department Standard Operating Procedures to ensure key processes are documented and compliant
with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• May review SAP/MRP demands to convert planned orders to purchase orders.
• Can initiate and maintain material master data in SAP.
• Supports product launches alongside project managers, internal/external product development material requirements, and
affiliate order requests.
• May be required to update Trackwise and SAP for implementation of revisions / changes.
• Analyzes demand and assumes responsibility for implementation of production plan to meet demands. Interacts with all
departments/levels to fulfill on time delivery/Right First Time company objectives.
• Develops and converts production plan for manufactured products into daily, weekly and/or monthly plan. Creates and
releases manufacturing orders to the production floor. Selects appropriate lot of material for use in production of products.
Works closely with the production manufacturing areas to ensure timely schedule execution and resolution of technical issues.
• Develops materials acquisition plan and issues purchase orders based on needs of production plan. Procures finished goods,
intermediates and raw materials utilizing VMI, material consignment, and/or Kanban lean principles. Works closely with
vendor, Purchasing and value stream teams to resolve technical issues related to procured materials.
• Manages products to meet company’s financial inventory goals including inventory value, MOH, and write-offs. Manage
inventory to support internal value stream objectives. Updates planning parameters such as lot size and safety stock/time as
required to facilitate company on time delivery and inventory targets.

• Works with Operations Life Cycle Leaders and launch teams to meet all launch activities. Attends new product launch
meetings. Creates plan for production and purchasing of items needed for launch. Initiates MRP/Kanban related material
master views required for launch activities. Maintains material master data as required.
• Responsible for initiating and tracking all requests for inventory destruction. Interfaces with Finance to report financial impact.
Responsible for reporting inventory risk to Finance on quarterly basis.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field, or equivalent
combination of education and work-related experience.
