Position Summary:
As a Production Planner and Customer Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining excellent customer relationships. REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM:
If you are able to refer a person we do hire, we can offer up to $250 for contractors after they are on the job for 90 days and up to $500 for direct hires after they are on the job between 90 days to 180 days , depending on customer payment terms.

Position Responsibilities :
- Production Planning:
- Review sales forecasts and current orders to assess inventory status and upcoming production needs.
- Create, evaluate, and modify purchase orders to support developed production schedules.
- Verify resource availability (material, equipment, and labor) required for production to deliver excellent customer service at optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to automotive industry quality standards and regulatory requirements in production planning.
- Customer Service Representative:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, interpreting and implementing their instructions for custom manufacturing products.
- Update customer records promptly and accurately.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production teams, ensuring seamless communication between planning and execution.
- Coordinate Bills of Materials (BOMs) in an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) environment.
- Serve as a liaison between production planning and shift managers.
- Problem-Solving:
- Address any production-related challenges promptly.
- Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and potential delays.
- Propose solutions to optimize production efficiency.
- Accuracy and Detail Orientation:
- Maintain accurate records related to production schedules, orders, and customer interactions.
- Pay attention to details to prevent errors and ensure smooth operations.
Required Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Individuals with relevant industry experience in the same role will also be considered.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or plastic injection molding industry.
- Strong knowledge of materials planning, procurement strategies, and supplier relationship management.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP software (Epicor/Kinetics) and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
