Production Planner:
The Production Planner will be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Production department through accurate and timely:
- Production Order requirements for Make to Order, Make to Stock and VOMI in both Production Packaging and Manufacturing
- Assistance with prioritization of work by establishing appropriate due dates
- Highlighting future capacity constraints by understanding hours needed to support business goals and hours available in Production Packaging and Manufacturing
- Collaboration with quality, warehouse and shipping staffs
- Support Materials through:
- Analysis of current component stock levels to schedule accurately. This would include, but not limited to, managing MRP documents for identified vendors
- Collaborate with Warehouse Manager on movement of materials to and from the Off-Site warehouse
- Maintaining Dynamics data as needed (eg. safety stock, lead time, forecasts, etc. for VOMI, Off-site Warehouse, other)
- Identifying and assisting to address and resolve production issues to avoid delays
- Other Continuous Improvement activities (Daily Management)
- Support Customers and Customer Service department through accurate and timely:
- VOMI replenishment needs and preparation of proper shipping documents
- Communication of lead time for products and specific customer orders
- Main point of contact for delivery questions from Customer Service and Sales, collaborating with the necessary team members in Operations
- Communication about changes to orders (ship early or re-confirming dates)
- All other duties as assigned by Manager
- Dynamics 365 implementation support
- ISO process and data support
- Physical Inventory support
- Cycle Count support
- Standard Work development
Qualifications:
- Associates' Degree (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
- Expert level proficiency in the use of an ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite, EXCEL proficiency
- Expert level communicator and ability to work in a self-directed manner
- Experience in production, scheduling, and supply chain (> 3 years)
