The Sourced Product Business is part of Marathon Electric, responsible for providing finished goods that are not manufactured at one of our North American plants. This includes product sourced with external suppliers or product manufactured at one of our facilities in Asia. The team is also responsible for managing the Service Part offering and fulfillment for both motors and generators. We are looking for a Global Category Manager Expert to join our team.
Position Summary:
Manages daily/weekly/monthly build schedule to ensure customer delivery dates are met. Collaborates with Commodity Planners, Production Managers and Customer Service to meet or exceed commitment to customer driven metrics.

Creates, reviews and manages production orders for motors and generators.

Manage change requests from engineering team to ensure bill of materials are correct on work order release.

Manages daily production meetings to assure alignment along all value streams.

Review workbench daily and release jobs according to scheduler metric objectives.

Collaborate with the materials team to determine material availability to achieve scheduling metric objectives.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 5+ years direct scheduling of multiple product lines. CPIM is a plus.

Experience in working cross functionally with leadership, customer service, purchasing, engineering, etc.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Extensive experience using ERP/MRP planning systems (Oracle is a plus).

Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and components is a plus.

Understanding of blueprints is a plus.
