Production Supervisor, 1st Shift (6:45 am – 4:00 pm) – Middletown, PA

Salary range: $55k - $80K DOE

This is an Exempt position with hours from 6:45 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, overseeing approximately 25 direct reports on the production floor. There is very limited OT associated with this role, however it is required once every third week in a rotating program.

The Opportunity:

Our client is a manufacturer of global products for the defense industry and has hired us to seek out a Production Supervisor for their Middletown, PA location. They are growing at an exponential rate, so we are excited to be able to share their success story.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

1. Coordination of staffing, materials, machinery and processes
2. Employee training in Safety, Quality, and Operational tasks
3. Developing employees in the areas of Lean and Continuous Improvement
4. Strong interviewing skills are necessary, again this role will be responsible for hiring employees and attending onsite job fairs
5. Resolving operational and production hurdles to ensure metrics are met in a safe and timely manner

Qualifications include:

1. 3+ years of Supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
2. Lean / Six Sigma / 5S manufacturing experience
3. Machine shop experience a plus
