Production Supervisor 2nd Shift - Integrated Talent Strategies

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Production Supervisor 2nd Shift to work in the New Hudson, MI area.  This is a direct hire position that offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing/operations experience with minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role
• Familiarity with welded sheet metal assemblies
• Hands on leader that works on the Production floor motivating, mentoring and driving the team to reach it's targets.

Responsibilities

• The Production Supervisor oversees production operations, and supports Management, Team Leaders, and Production Associates by acting as a liaison in matters regarding policy application, employee relations, safety, and continuous improvement for processes and productivity
• This is a second shift position, hours are 2 pm - 10 pm
• Establishes and maintains effective communications/interaction with all other departments, including but not limited to engineering, quality, materials, maintenance, and human resources support groups in order to achieve established targets
• Plans and directs the utilization and use of all equipment and manpower to achieve the most effective results
• Is responsible and accountable for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Continuous Improvement (CI) objectives
• Monitors work centers and stock centers to ensure a continuous supply of materials is available to production lines
• Understands, compiles and organizes operational data to implement improvements by working with teams and using lean tools and problem solving methods
• Monitors and adjusts inventory balances as required, investigates inventory problems, and implements solutions to source
• Coordinates preventative maintenance with Maintenance and Production Planning
