About the Role:
As a Corrugation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our corrugation line operates smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of operators in producing high-quality corrugated board, panels, and other related materials, meeting production targets while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the corrugation line, ensuring smooth and efficient production flow.
- Assign tasks and provide clear instructions to team members, motivating them to achieve production goals.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of corrugated products, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and identify potential issues, taking proactive steps to prevent downtime.
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed by team members, upholding a safe working environment.
- Address and resolve production problems, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Train new team members on operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and scheduling, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum [3-5] years of experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of corrugation processes, including equipment operation, material handling, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a team.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with team members and other departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to production challenges.
- Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a relevant associate's degree or technical training is a plus.
