Job Title: Purified Water Shift Supervisor
Summary:
The Purified Water Shift Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the production of purified water in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles. This includes ensuring that the water meets all quality and safety standards, testing products for safety, maintaining equipment, and keeping accurate records. The secondary responsibility is to ensure that the production orders are produced on time and sent out for delivery to the correct distribution locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide incredible customer service when given the opportunity.
- Supervise the production of purified water in accordance with GMPs and HACCP principles.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Conduct scheduled tests on purified water to ensure that it meets all quality and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of all production and testing activities.
- Train and supervise shift personnel.
- Investigate and resolve any quality or safety issues.
- Implement and maintain HACCP procedures.
- Participate in ongoing development and improvement of our purified water production process.
- Verify the production order is accurate and represents the product being released, complete load sheets with drivers, ensure every order you fill leaves the warehouse.
- All work is to be documented within our system using the appropriate procedure.
- Must be able to execute repetitive motion lifting heavy weight 50# and stand for long periods.
Qualifications:
- Pride- they must be proud of their work, and take responsibility for what they produce
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP principles, no certification necessary to apply, after hiring must complete GMP within 30 days.

- Ongoing training and professional development classes are required and provided after hiring.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Persistence- must be able to push through and deliver in difficult situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Experience with water treatment and purification systems.
- Experience with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience with HACCP implementation and management.
This is a full-time position with rotating shifts. The position may require some travel.
