Production Supervisor - Need Personnel Placement

Production Supervisor Job Description

 Responsibilities:

-Supervise production staff (machine operators, inspectors, winders, slitters, shipping, quality)

            Follow/oversee company guidelines.

-Schedule production (presses, inspection, slitting, winding, embossing) for 1^st and 2^nd shifts

            Develop daily work lists for each area.

            Oversee and check screens before being released to production.

-Monitor production during all phases to ensure necessary yields are produced

-On weekend come in 1 day to monitor production and update work schedules

-Manage customer PO’s that will ship daily

-Manage inventory and reorder points. Work with office to create PO’s for materials.

-Active participant in maintaining company quality initiatives and ISO Certifications

            -maintain quality measurements (with help from Quality Engineer)

            -oversee ISO audits with outside consultant/quality engineer

-Work with office to communicate with customers on ship dates for PO’s and rush items

-Work with owner on company initiatives and daily operations

Experience:

-In a manufacturing company with a similar job description

-Printing company experience helpful but non required

-Scheduling production for different departments

-ISO 9000 Certification experience in a manufacturing company (required)

Temp to Perm or Perm placement (based on probation period)
