Job Description
The Production Shift Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production staff on their shift. This key position within the production team will ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff
- Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed
- Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes
- Monitor and document employee attendance and performance
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Equipment Maintenance
- BOM Creation
- Production Scheduling
- Create New CAD Drawings/Print CAD Drawings for Production
- Create Work Orders/Add to Assembly Track/Print Travelers
- Assembly Tracking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of production processes and equipment
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other related software
