The Material, Planning & Logistics Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. MPL Supervisors are:

What you'll do...
+ Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
+ Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
+ Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
+ Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
You'll have...
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 1+ years of supervisory in a Material Planning and Logistic manufacturing environment
+ Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
+ Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
Required Behaviors
+ Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
+ Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
+ Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
+ Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies
+ Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
+ Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others

+ Bachelor’s degree in operations, Transportation & Logistics, or Supply Chain
+ Safety and MPL experience
+ Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
+ Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
+ Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
+ Ability to multitask
+ Ability to work independently
