Production Supervisor Sheet Metal
Honor designs, manufactures, and assembles golf carts and luxury low speed vehicles that compete in an industry dominated by foreign products. We utilize the latest in manufacturing technology, traditionally found in the automotive or aerospace industries, to create our vehicles.
Seeking candidates with excellent work ethic and attention to detail, a working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment. Responsibilities:
- Utilize CAD/CAM software such as ArTube, Lantek, ProBend, VGP3D daily.
- Design and fabricate parts using CAD/CAM software.
- Program and set up sheet laser and laser tube to cut materials according to specifications.
- Program and set up tube bender and press brake to fabricate parts to specifications.
- Monitor machine operation and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, adjusting as necessary.
- Monitor workflow to meet daily manufacturing goals.
- Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.
- Measure and align materials to be used and adjust settings as needed to meet specifications.
- Measure finished products using calipers and angle gauges.
- Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards every time.
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production team.
- Develop and maintain production schedules.
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel.
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunction.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields required.
- Laser, Press Brake and Tube bending experience required.
- Experience as a CNC Machinist or Operator.
- Experience with CAD / CAM software preferred.
- The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment.
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
