About the Job
Brief Summary of Primary Duties:
- Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures
- Participate in CI improvements using lean manufacturing skills
- Ensure a safe work environment at all times
- Lead Tier meetings with employees
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance
- Resolve conflicts on the shop floor
- Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping
- Drive quality and cost saving initiatives
- Guide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates
Expectations:
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to use written work instructions to complete task
- Ability to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,
- Forklift Certification training is required
- First Responders Training
Specific Skills/Training Required
- Computer skills & ability that allow them to enter data, use email, and basic office programs
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to use written work instructions to complete task
- Ability to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,
- Hazardous Waste Training
- First Responders Training
Education:
- High School/GED Diploma - required
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
- Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
- Hearing Protection required in posted areas
- Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
