This Supervisor will oversee daily operations in one or more departments to meet the Company's production requirements under moderate supervision. Ensure employee development, On-Time Delivery (OTD), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), budgets, productivity, efficiency, and 5S standards, while fostering a continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing environment. Prepare teams for future demands through training and development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop teams to ensure OTD and maintain quality standards.
- Assign production tasks to department leads/supervisors to meet schedules and quality.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet schedules, and budgets, and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot production problems with existing processes and equipment.
- Enforce quality standards and provide corrective actions.
- Conduct audits for compliance with Quality Environmental Management System (QEMS) procedures.
- Implement Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote continuous process and performance improvement.
- Ensure adequate resources for tasks and implement company policies.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following housekeeping, 5S, and safety procedures.
- Provide input for strategic planning to meet operational goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Develop subordinate personnel with the necessary skills and training.
- Maintain positive employee relations and foster an inclusive environment.
- Strive to increase quality, productivity, and timeliness.
- Support EHS initiatives and resource sustainability.
- Ensure emergency action plans support business continuity.
- Proficient in database management (Excel) and presentation systems (PowerPoint).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of related technical or supervisory experience.
- Supervise employees by company policies and laws.
- Communicate effectively with employees, ensuring transparency and consistency.
- Resolve conflicts and build consensus.
- Apply critical thinking for strategic decisions and foster teamwork.
- Manage time and priorities for a stable and focused plant environment.
- Responsibilities include hiring, training, planning, directing work, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
