Talon is a small business staffing and engineering firm providing innovative, end-to-end, rapid turn solutions to our government and commercial clients.  Founded in 2019, Talon employs over 150 Aerospace and Defense engineers and other support staff to solve problems for a variety of applications to include aircraft, ballistics, cybersecurity, motorsports, armor development, biological systems, missiles, and warheads. Talon has an office in Tucson, AZ that is providing staffing solutions,  technical services support, and manufacturing to Fortune 500 companies.

Production Supply Control Planner Job Description: 

The Supply Production Control Planner or Production Planner will be responsible for ensuring a company meets its production goals while minimizing costs by planning, scheduling, coordinating, adjusting and supervising the use of labor and materials for manufacturing or remanufacturing operations. Other responsibilities include; preparing contract bids for government - owned equipment, systems, facilities, and supplies. 

Primary Qualifications:

• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and releasing purchase requisitions to Supply Chain in PRISM per MRP or MPM PO placement plans, as applicable.
• Ability to facilitate cross functional activities with Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and coordinate some Logistics.
• Able to identify gaps and proactively work on supplied material problems.
• Ability to problem solve and work and meet the required deadlines.
• Must be detailed oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Google Sheets, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

• Accounting and finance background in DOD industry preferred
• Expert Level in Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with ERP systems
• Business Administration
• Background and drug screening
• U.S. Citizenship
• Location- Tucson, AZ
