Resumen:The Production Support Person will gather raw parts, tooling and necessary supplies to assist production rackers and un-rackers to perform their duties. These duties are performed throughout the day according to standard work. This position will aid rackers and un-rackers increase their productivity by removing non-value added activities and will report to the Production Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with Team Lead to pulling all raw product by following production schedule for racking department
- Place all tooling/racks request to fulfill production schedule to each assigned work order
- Ensure all paperwork coincides with raw product for racking department work order
- Must be able to perform all customer required racking per customer specification
- Distribute packaging and supplies to each assigned cell/customer order
- Ensuring staging area is queued for production schedule
- Pulling completed orders from racking cells and placed in anodizing que for line operators
- Monitors Line Operator ques to ensure balanced mix of orders for plating process
- Unloading of dryers once anodizing has been completed and placed in finished que
- Loading of processed parts and ensuring proper paperwork and packing are placed in packing que
- Set the pace and motivate all employees on their respective teams by using company metrics of success.
- Demonstrates a knowledge of and understanding of the key performance indicators for the department and division.
- Identifies a process or tooling related issue and demonstrates problem-solving skills using the tools of the organization to identify root cause.
- Skilled in blueprint reading to accurately assess racking/un-racking requirements specified on print.
- Communicates with line operators as needed to ensure compliance of sensitive parts or different process requirements.
- Maintains equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals
- Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor
- Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed, such as, Racking/Un-Racking
Work Environment/Physical/Environmental
- Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to walk/stand for the entirety of their shift
- Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heavy carts, occasional hot and cold temperature and humidity levels, heat from ovens, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection.)
- Must be able to differentiate between color variance
- Responsibilities are repetitive in nature
- Various chemicals used in the process
Education/Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to navigate Dynamics and perform production duties using Dynamics
- Ability to follow procedures to perform job duties (ex:) Ordering raw parts, Tooling request, Calibrate eddy current tester, Process verification and applicable testing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
