Production Team Lead - Fortive Corporation

About the Job
The Cell Lead will assist in directing the production team to execute on our delivery goals, communicating the status of critical issues while helping to drive resolution, and escalating issues as needed acting as the lead for all daily management efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ 1st shift position, 4/10 schedule
+ Coordinate with planning and management to help create and adjust production schedule in the cell.
+ Escalate production issues appropriately.
+ Attend Tier 1 meeting daily.
+ Provide pass down communication at end of shift.
+ Review daily management KPI results, provide commentary on results and top issues, and delegate action items to address top issues.
+ Initial point of troubleshooting within the cell. Escalates if unable to resolve.
+ Ensure equipment is within calibration and is functioning at the desired level.
+ Ensure team members follow defined standard operating procedures and comply with quality requirements.
+ Partner with process engineering and management on process improvements.
+ Ensure full adherence to 5S, Kamishibai and other FBS practices.
+ Support, comply and ensure compliancy with EHS regulation, Employee Handbook, and other company policies.
+ Execute training process with new employees.
+ Execute daily operator work assignments and schedule priorities.
+ Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
Leadership Responsibilities
+ Provide training to team members. Act as technical resource for colleagues with less experience.
+ Provide performance feedback on team members to management.
+ Perform other leadership tasks delegated from production manager.
+ Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective performance.
Qualifications:
+ Ability to give feedback/recognition, build trust, and develop talent.
+ Ability to influence others to accomplish work tasks and achieve results.
+ Ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively with support functions.
+ Analytical skills and understanding for when and how to escalate issues.
+ Effective communication, conflict resolution, and objective judgement are critical to success in this role.
+ Demonstration of interpersonal skill level that express effective and comfort connecting with diverse teams

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
The pay range for this position (in local currency) is 21.94 - 40.85 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
