ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be on-shift and responsible for the operation of Lehr through inspection equipment.
- Cleaning & 5S of inspection area, line observation and reporting
- Interpretation and validation of inspection data
- Hoist and forklift operation
- Hot end inspection equipment setup, job change, and operation, including troubleshooting and data analysis
- Job change and set up for packaging equipment, including palletizer, carton, case packer, and stretch wrapper
- Basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for packaging equipment, including palletizer, carton, case packer, stretch wrapper, and inject coder
- Basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for inspection equipment and conveyors
- Ware testing, including challenge sample testing, fingernail tests, packed ware tests, held ware tests, scratch tests
- Set up of lehr curves and annealing checks
- Coating equipment reading and checks (atomization and temperature)
About You:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3-4 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to set-up and operate equipment
- Familiarity with high speed industrial production lines
- Basic computer knowledge to include experience with MS Office or similar desktop related applications
- You are familiar with high-speed industrial production lines
- You are a good communicator and understand that teamwork is an important key to success
- You have ability to work to a shift schedule (day and night shift, 12 hours)
- Ability to occasionally perform physically demanding job tasks:
- Lift or carry <50lbs
- Bend, stretch, twist or reach out
Schedule:
- We will be operating a 12-hour rotating day/night shift that enables seven consecutive days off each month.
Wages:
- Pay range will be $29.11 per hour plus overtime and performance-based incentives for all teammates.
