Production Test Technician, 2nd Shift (Mon - Thurs 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM) (2024-037) Astronics Subsidiary Astronics AES Location Kirkland, WA Description **Astronics AES** is seeking a **Production Test Technician on Second Shift** in **Kirkland, WA** . **Second Shift hours are Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM** If you are interested in working at a dynamic company with a winning culture which has **won awards as one of Washington's Best Places to work for 15 years consecutively** , please read on! **JOB SUMMARY** The Production Test Technician will test assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment. This position will carry out their duties with an emphasis on 5s, safety, calibration, and quality while following set procedures and standard operational guidelines. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** + Test and troubleshoot less complex assemblies and/or final systems + Monitor and adjust production processes for increased quality and productivity + Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components + May occasionally set-up, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies + May occasionally complete rework on assemblies and/or systems due to testing faults + May occasionally prepare brief reports to summarize test findings + May occasionally assist in the set-up of specialized test equipment **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** + Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or related field/ equivalent electronics military schooling and experience required *High-power electronics and/or high-power avionics technician experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
