Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture (JV) is seeking a proven, high performing Production Test Technician to fill this key role supporting a dynamic and growing joint venture. The selected candidate will be responsible to work with a team of technician(s) to test, troubleshoot and help to resolve issues on various types of hardware ranging from missile guidance sets to full-up missiles and launch containers. This position is an onsite role.

The selected candidate will be responsible to work with a team of technician(s) to test, troubleshoot and help to resolve issues on various types of hardware ranging from missile guidance sets to full-up missiles and launch containers. This position is an onsite role.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Prepare and operate a wide variety of standard assembly or test equipment consisting of multiples of measurement and assembly tools, generators, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, etc. to ensure or verify high quality subassemblies and systems in accordance with available instructions and specifications
- Perform testing to include but not limited to: pressure, vacuum, load testing, electronic and physical functionality, and hydraulic/pneumatic operations.
- Verifies and analyzes test results against acceptability criteria.
- Communicate with production engineers to troubleshoot, determine and accurately document the causes of various test failures.
- Complete and update equipment records, job work orders and other project documentation
- Complies with a variety of documents including test specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. and make necessary recommendation for edit or change in test procedures and specifications
- Maintain test equipment.
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar position
- Oral and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow directions and document information.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)
- Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters
- Familiarity with mate/demate of electrical contacts and connectors
- Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles
- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000 systems a plus
- Basic blueprint reading / understanding of schematics a plus
- Previous experience using automated test equipment a plus
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite a plus
- DoD SECRET or higher security clearance.
