Production Trainer-Lead - Lingo Staffing

Lingo Staffing is hiring for Production Trainers in Georgetown, Tx
Pay rate: $22.00/hr



Key Responsibilities: 

• 
  Oversee operator's performance, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards. 
  

• 
  Coordinate transfers and breaks for personnel in designated work areas. 
  

• 
  Set up, operate, and tear down equipment when not fulfilling training duties. 
  

• 
  Monitor and report production scrap, raising awareness to minimize waste. 
  

• 
  Ensure that production lines run efficiently, and workers operate at their full potential. 
  

• 
  Investigate quality defects and work with the quality assurance team to resolve issues. 
  

• 
  Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area by ensuring waste, debris, and liquids are promptly removed. 
  

• 
  Track and report production hours, line speeds, waste, and other metrics, including staffing hours and discrepancies. 
  

• 
  Conduct equipment setup and monitor equipment settings, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is updated and accurate. 
  

• 
  Collaborate with supervisors to communicate and resolve training and production issues promptly. 
  

• 
  Provide constructive and timely feedback to production managers to improve overall performance. 
  

• 
  Develop, implement, and monitor training plans and procedures across all production areas. 
  

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

• 
  High School Diploma or GED. 
  

• 
  Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience. 
  

• 
  Previous training experience is required. 
  

• 
  Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members. 
  

• 
  Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative in addressing training and production challenges. 
  

Essential Physical Functions:

• 
  Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours. 
  

• 
  Visual accuracy to measure fluids, read calipers, and review job details. 
  

• 
  Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 25 lbs. 
  

• 
  Capable of handling temperature fluctuations due to seasonal changes and machinery operations. 
  

• 
  Ability to apply wrist torque for manually tightening bolts.
