This very cool company makes and ships T-shirts and other novelty logo items.
Production Warehouse work for cool custom clothing maker.
Easy to get to location in Carol Stream.
2nd shift hours 3:00pm to 11:00pm - $16.00hr (with Overtime when busy!)
Production Warehouse Job Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Work safely at all times
- Fluent in English
- Efficient, accurate performance of duties
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read and understand orders and shipping information
- Use standard shipping equipment and tools
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and supervisors
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Able to work in a team environment as well as work independently with minimal supervision
- Attendance is critical for this job position and the success of the company.
Job Duties:
- Prepare shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determine the most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery
- Check items to be shipped against invoices to ensure that quantity, destination, and routing is all correct.
- Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and/or log inventory which is shipped.
- Track inventory and communicate inventory needs with production.
- Pick orders for shipping accurately and in a timely manner.
- Inspect and pack orders that have been picked and are ready to ship.
- Meet shipping goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Cleaning and Restocking areas assigned.
- Organizing carts.
- Perform additional duties, as necessary.
