About the Role:
As our Professional Land Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. You will lead and oversee survey projects, utilizing your professional judgment and expertise to complete tasks independently. Ensuring accuracy through established QC/QA processes will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will assign and manage tasks and schedules for other project team members, delegate work within company teams, and maintain proactive communication with clients and management staff. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including residential, commercial, municipal, mixed-use, multi-family, and industrial ventures.
Experience and Education:
- An Associates Degree in surveying or civil engineering.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or a willingness to obtain registration within 12 months of employment.
- Minimum of 4 years of survey/field experience.
- Proficiency in office automation tools such as MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with engineering automation tools.
- Experience with Trimble or Leica GPS and robotic total stations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide mentoring to less-experienced staff members, excellent communication, problem-solving, active listening, initiative, and being a supportive colleague.
