Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Planner position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
AICP Certification is required
NJ Planning Licensure (P.P) preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GIS and other planning tools.
Lead land use planning projects, conducting research and analysis of zoning regulations and land development codes.
Manage planning projects, from preparing applications to coordinating with clients and stakeholders.
Facilitate community engagement, including public hearings and workshops.
Stay up to date with trends in urban planning to develop innovative planning strategies.
Cultivate relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Salary: $65,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
