Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Training & Exercise Directorate of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Responsibilities You will assist with ensuring funding requirements are met and executed. You will provide analytic support to assist with crisis action planning. You will analyze open source information. You will aid with resource management coordination authority programs for various agencies. You will provide guidance on travel issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector reviewing, analyzing, and executing multiple programs. Examples of specialized experience should include most or all of the following: 1) Assisting with resource planning, programming and/or execution of funds; 2) Participate in planning, scheduling, executing and assessing training exercises; 3) Recognizing potential problems and assist with corrective actions; 4) Adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to assess the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity; 5) Following procedural guidelines, regulations and laws regarding the execution of funding requirements. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions. This is an obligated position.
