Program Analyst - Junior - Yorktown Systems Group

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Program Analyst - Junior to provide professional services and support to the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) with direct support to the Product Effectiveness (PE) Professional Health Business Services. The Veterans Health Administration is America's largest integrated health care system, supported by approximately 300,000 employees providing care at 1,250 health care facilities, including 172 medical centers and 1,069 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity across the continuum, serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year. VHA facilities are located in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S Virgin Islands, the Philippines, Guam and American Samoa and serve a diverse population of Veterans.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Shall support VHA in tasks requiring program planning, audits, and evaluations related to various healthcare programs and projects.
• Tasks may include supporting program analysis, strategic planning, integrated master scheduling, event planning, Congressional Affairs, metrics, Financial Management systems and risk management.
• Scan databases or locate rare texts to get information.
• Interpret Data, Data is analyzed or interpreted making sense of the data collected and finding ways to represent findings.
• Describes all assessments and results from all sources of an analysis in an inclusive, consistent, and standardized manner identifying major accomplishments.
• Articulates complex content in a simplistic and logical manner to produce leadership level reports and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree
• 3+ Years' Experience
• Using various methodologies and sources, must be able to obtain recent and relevant data for VA/VHA Initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to review documents to provide a high-level summary/snapshot of the content.

Clearance: Must possess a favorable NACI Background check and able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Location: Washington, DC , NCR

Travel: Some travel is required.
