Summary You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Directorate of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will provide independent analysis and review of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) security programs and procedures, and hands-on management of security-related activities within the NNPP. You will oversee day-to-day security operations both at Naval Reactors Headquarters and Field Offices and coordinate security requirements. You will assist with and develop security processes and procedures for the international sharing of nuclear technology and information. You will analyze and review federal laws, regulations, and policies to ensure continued compliance with federal security requirements. You will perform continued analysis of interrelated aspects that affect major administrative operations, such as, security oversight, administrative support functions, and business operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade pay band, BR-02 (GS-12 Equivalent), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing programs and procedures to detect deficiencies in operations or resources requirements. Examples of specialized experience include some or all of the following; 1) Utilizing qualitative and quantitative program evaluation methods to develop procedures and methods to assess the efficiency/effectiveness of security operations and/or security program support functions; 2) Determining resource levels required to accomplish program requirements and providing advice on the establishment; 3) Providing advisory services to management on complex issues. Additional Information The BR-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14 grade levels. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
