The Division of Administration/Louisiana Property Assistance Agency and Division of Administration/Louisiana Federal Property Assistance Agency both have a vacancy. The job title for these vacancies has an assigned pay grade of AS-619.
These vacancies will be filled by promotion of a current permanent status Division of Administration employee. A permanent status employee may be required to serve a new probationary period in lieu of promotion.
Preference may be given to applicants who have experience with Asset Management Systems and State and/or Federal Surplus Property experience.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A baccalaureate degree plus four years of professional level experience in accounting, program auditing, financial auditing, federal job training programs work, labor market analysis, labor relations, labor negotiations, management analysis, unemployment insurance, benefits administration, workers' compensation, inventory control, surplus property management, fleet management, warehousing, purchasing, administrative services or in the monitoring of governmental housing programs for compliance with statutes and/or other program requirements.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Six years of full-time work experience in any field may be substituted for the required baccalaureate degree.
Candidates without a baccalaureate degree may combine work experience and college credit to substitute for the baccalaureate degree as follows:
A maximum of 120 semester hours may be combined with experience to substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
30 to 59 semester hours credit will substitute for one year of experience towards the baccalaureate degree.
60 to 89 semester hours credit will substitute for two years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree.
90 to 119 semester hours credit will substitute for three years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree.
120 or more semester hours credit will substitute for four years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree.
College credit earned without obtaining a baccalaureate degree may be substituted for a maximum of four years full-time work experience towards the baccalaureate degree. Candidates with 120 or more semester hours of credit, but without a degree, must also have at least two years of full-time work experience to substitute for the baccalaureate degree.

Examples of Work
Manages the statewide programs of Unemployment Insurance Quality Control Audits and Overpayment and Fraud Investigations.
Manages the statewide compliance programs of Apprenticeship Training, Private Employment Services, Medical Exam, Drug Screen, and Child Labor Law.
Develops goals and measurable performance standards for subordinate program units and subordinate program compliance supervisors. Establishes productivity reporting criteria and procedures for these units; monitors supervisors' performance in meeting goals.
Provides guidance to subordinate labor program compliance supervisors in all phases of staff management. Ensures that supervisors are trained to counsel employees, develop employees skills, and lead employees to achieve performance objectives.
Provides periodic reports of unit performance to an Undersecretary or an Assistant Secretary.
Ensures the implementation of all directives of the appropriate federal agency for programs managed.
Controls time and attendance of subordinate supervisors and evaluates their performance.
