Overview
Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Program Control Analyst to immediately join our team. Do you have experience in Government Contracting? Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
Credence is looking for a driven, motivated individual who understands basic government contracting principles and cost accounting standards, who shares in our love of Excel and is ready for their next company to feel like home.
- Review cost and pricing data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reasonableness
- Financial oversight of multiple contracts with prime and subcontractor personnel placed both domestically and internationally
- Fiscal and administrative management regarding budgeting, financial reporting, analysis/forecasting for multiple funding sources and various budget components.
- Responsible for special reporting requirements (CDRLs) related to finance, program costs, and budgets
- Attending and actively participating (virtually) in monthly meetings with our clients. This includes preparing financial data for a slide deck, briefing monthly financial statuses, and answering any finance-related questions the Government may have
- Advise Program Management regarding cost impact on employment agreements
- Perform cost and price analysis and develop pricing templates and models to evaluate different strategies and "what-if" scenarios
- Analyze cost data and work with program management to review execution strategies
- Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations
- Assist with the development of smart and efficient pricing standards, strategies, and best practices where applicable and integrate the same throughout the organization
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate should possess the following education and experience:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university - business-related field of study preferred)
· At least five plus (3+) years of professional experience in government contracting
· Demonstrated strong analytical background
· Knowledge of cost accounting a plus
· Forecasting skills/experience a plus
· Familiarity with price proposals from Federal Government Agencies
· Knowledge of FAR, CAS, allowable/un-allowable costs, and indirect rates
· Experience with billing, budgeting, program control, and forecast modeling across major contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF/CPAF, IDIQ, etc.)
· Experience with and understanding of pricing, reviewing RFPs, cost model development, and cost proposal development a plus
· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and present to executive management
· Demonstrated experience to execute multiple tasks simultaneously working in a team or independently
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment delivering results and quality services
· Exceptionally detail oriented and able to translate big-picture analyses with complex contract structures
· Strong organizational, verbal, written, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
· Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel
· Experience with CostPoint and Business Intelligence, ability to write queries in Business Intelligence a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Periodic (approximately quarterly) visits to Client site to attend quarterly reviews.
