Overview
Join USU Extension's team! The Program Coordinator I will help plan, coordinate and assist with the day-to-day, fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the Utah Marriage Commission. See StrongerMarriage.org.
The administrative offices for USU Extension and the Utah Marriage Commission are in Logan Utah, where work space is available. This position is tele-work eligible within the state of Utah, consistent with USU policy 330. Regardless of primary work location, regular in-office time on the Logan USU campus is expected.
The position will be hired between 32-40 hours per week. Excellent University benefits are included with an approximate value of 45% of your annual salary (see ). Continued employment is contingent upon performance and on-going grant funding.
Responsibilities
* Designs, coordinates, and implements programs and services supported by Utah Marriage Commission, including webinars, podcasts, e-courses, and assessments.
* Serves as a principal liaison between students, faculty, staff, other departments, and/or external constituents.
* Facilitates seminars, meetings, and special projects.
* Coordinates activities of support staff, consultants, faculty, and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of Utah Marriage Commission objectives and related initiatives.
* Monitors and administers program revenues and expenses; will participate in the development of funding proposals, contracts, and grants.
* Writes, edits, and coordinates development of course catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate and assigned.
* Collects and analyzes data; prepare reports; and maintains program records and statistical information.
* Ensures completion of clerical and administrative support tasks, including creating, typing, and editing program correspondence and purchasing documents, reports, program handbooks, and other publications.
* Participates in fundraising activities.
* Maintains and creates content for websites, print, and social media.
* Trains and directs lower-level staff, student employees, volunteers and/or graduate students.
* Participates in identifying, producing, and implementing community-engagement strategies that increase brand awareness and attract funding.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Associate degree plus two years of related work experience; or a bachelors degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education plus experience.
* A strong desire to promote healthy relationships.
* Experience working on projects and teams.
