Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, service-driven individual to join the Partnership 4 Kids team as a Program Coordinator in our middle school program.
Partnership 4 Kids (P4K) offers Omaha youth a solid foundation for lifelong success, stewarding them through critical academic transitions and preparing them to successfully achieve higher education and financial stability. P4K is seeking a Program Coordinator to facilitate programming with middle school students (grades 6 – 8), conduct program outreach, and provide individual case management support for program participants and their families.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate leadership-focused curriculum between middle school students and their respective mentors
- Prepare lesson plan guidelines and handouts
- Communicate meeting logistics to mentors and school administrators
- Prepare mentors for upcoming meetings by emailing agendas in advance
- Provide a safe and secure environment for relationship development and learning by establishing behavior expectations
- Actively monitor student-mentor interactions during meetings and provide redirection if behaviors are not meeting set expectations
- Meet with students to provide individual case management, supporting their academic goals, addressing barriers to goal achievement, and identifying resources for success
- Maintain communication with students and families, providing reminders for program meetings
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and target middle schools, maintaining regular communication with school officials
- Cultivate and build relationships with students, teachers, school administration, volunteers, and corporate partners to further the organization mission
- Work closely with program staff from different grade levels to ensure a smooth transition throughout the program continuum
- Provide match support for students and their volunteer mentors by continually assessing the match relationship
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of students’ academic progress and match-related information in agency databases
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (in human services or education field)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with vulnerable youth of relevant age groups in an after-school or school-based environment
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages preferred
- Previous volunteer management, teaching, or classroom experience preferred
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Daily access to a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
